It was about 9:00 a.m. and I received this phone call about a new job. The prospect had asked, "Hi, I want to make a website for my company. I liked your portfolio and thought I would ask about your services.

I replied, "Okay, first of all. What sort of sites do you like? The Flash or the HTML?

"I am no authority on the subject. But, I really liked your website and would like something along those lines. I like all the movement and the unique look."

"Okay", I answered. "You want a Flash site".

After a few more minutes of talking, we decided the best place for us to begin was for me to send him some template samples, since, he a templated Flash site was what he wanted.

I spent an hour or two finding the most appropriate samples. He really liked one of the them, so we went with that one.

Between the images and text he had sent me, the site got assembled rather quickly, piece by piece. There was a few minor changes along the way, but, he was about as good as a client gets for knowing what he wanted and liking what I had done. Within one week, the project was completed. Two years later, we still talk periodically and I keep updating his website.
